1949 Wildlife Habitat Bungalow

A Garden centered around wildlife will always have that wilder look about it.  Native plants, along with nectar rich plants attract butterflies, birds, and squirrels.
This lush planting greets the owner after a hard day at work.  The owner has kept this garden for many years and it's always a high point on our visit to this neighborhood.     Oak Forest Area of Houston.
UPDATE: This house and garden were torn down in June, 2013 due to land developers. There's one bird house on one tree left in the backyard. ~David
