It's a fun place to take older people who have ties to country living and are stuck in the BIG CITY. And it's fun for the kids to see animals, plants, and a feed store. Plus, the garden art is fun, fun, and more fun. Stop by now that it's cooler since they have no A/C.

This is definitely a good post for my blog, "The OTHER Houston". It's not what you imagine you'd find in a metropolis of over 2 million.
Ok I love that place. I lived in Houston for 38 years and didn't know it was there. My husband and I stumbled upon it one day and I fell in love. They have puppies and kitties too. It is so neat to find a place like that in the middle of town. I told my mother we had found it and she said- oh Wabash, we used to go there and get Cokes in high school. So, it's been around a while. Every little turn in there we were like LOOK.

I love this place. Thanks for reminding me. My puppy Scooter loves to go there also, while I'm buying lavender plants, he's picking out rawhide to chew on or sniffing the bunnies.
